A few words on how I work and what drives me.
I am a second-year student of Automation and Applied Informatics (AIA) at the Petroleum-Gas University of Ploiești, in the Faculty of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering.
This is the field I want to build a career in, and it is why I am here: control systems, industrial automation, and the software that sits next to them. At this stage the useful thing is not more reading — it is a real problem, with someone who knows more than I do standing next to it.
An internship or a student project in automation, control or applied software — somewhere I can turn coursework into something that actually runs. I have done my share of holiday work in shops and kitchens; now I want to work on the thing I am actually studying.
I am happy to start at the boring end of a problem. Untangling someone else’s wiring diagram, writing the test nobody wants to write, documenting a script — that is how you learn what the lectures leave out.
Before university I spent about a year in shops and kitchens, and I do not regret a day of it. A queue is a system with a bottleneck you have to find. A till report is a measurement that either reconciles or does not. An angry customer is a communication problem that being technically right does not solve.
Those habits went straight into my coursework. What those jobs could not give me is engineering practice, and that is the gap I am trying to close.
Coursework so far covers programming and algorithms, computer systems, applied electronics, and the mathematics underneath control and signals.
Alongside it I help run two projects for the Turkmen-speaking community in Romania — one teaches Romanian, the other explains how to live here. They taught me that the technical half and the human half of a product matter equally, and they are the reason this journal exists: writing something down is how I find out whether I actually understood it.

Things I have helped build, from concept to the people using them.
A platform that teaches Romanian to Turkmen speakers living in Romania: grammar, vocabulary, an AI tutor and games, as an app and a website.
A free guide for Turkmens living in or moving to Romania: residence permits, everyday practicalities, emergency numbers and places worth seeing.
Notes from what I study, build and figure out along the way.
My notes were scattered across notebooks, my phone and my memory. This is the attempt to fix that.
A year at a till and in a kitchen turned out to be better preparation than I expected.
A reference for myself: the shape of a post, where the files live, and how formulas and code are rendered.
Open to internships, student projects and good conversations.
